Disagreements about special education eligibility and services can be frustrating. But, on the other side of frustration is hope. IEEs offer parents and district staff fresh perspectives about a student’s areas of strength and weakness and new ideas about how to best support their educational growth.

When working with a skilled and organized assessor, you can be confident that assessment is focused on your child’s specific needs, and is comprehensive, transparent, and unbiased.

Transparent

For many parents, the IEE process is unfamiliar and at times, daunting. But it doesn’t have to be! I provide an array of tools and resources to keep you informed about the assessment process and status.

Unbiased

Honest, student-centered assessment. With honest recommendations. Period. Student success is my top priority.

Comprehensive

There is no one size fits all approach to assessment. Each assessment is crafted based upon the specific concerns of each family and include: formal and informal assessment measures, school-based observations, work sample reviews, and information from those who interact with your child most. Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Educationally Related Mental Health Services Evaluations (ERMHS) are also provided upon request.
